On day two at Cat Ba Island we were off for more adventures, this time deep water soloing with Asia Outdoors. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term, deepwater soloing is free climbing (no ropes) on sea cliffs above a deep body of water, which insures ypur safety when you fall or jump.
While Ben is a damn good climber, I’m not climbing any 5.12s anytime soon. Nevertheless it was a fun time. By the end my fear of jumping/falling into the water subsided but my forearms didn’t want to cooperate. This is a must do for anyone in Cat Ba whose active and not afraid to get their adrenaline pumping.
