We’ve really done it this time! OK my boyfriend is the one who made this happen really.. Thanks to an extremely generous former United pilot we will be flying (on standby) on United for taxes and fees in 2014. Which means I have 5 months to formulate a rough plan for a RTW trip!

Here’s a rough country list thus far:

• Myanmar
• Tibet
• Laos
• Cambodia
• Vietnam
• Thailand

As of now we’re skewing heavily towards countries that don’t cost an arm and a leg and are easy to get to via United, low cost airlines, train, boat. Also since we’ve both already done the Europe circuit, we’re looking for more “off the beaten path” experiences within countries.

Who’s been to any of these countries? Where should we go? Where should we skip? Help please!!!
